$5 Coro F22 Pusher Jet – 1 piece Coroplast / Coroboard from Bunnings

$5 Coro F22 Pusher Jet – 1 piece Coroplast / Coroboard from Bunnings

We built this in a few hours without any plans just looking at a picture of a one from rcgroups. It flies very well, great handling and very fast. This was my first scratch build RC plane so I did’nt think it would actually fly! after reading all the drama’s good RC builders have with building RC pusher jets, and not following any plans.  I will measure out all the parts and splash out on another piece of coro from bunning’s and draw a proper plan for you guys to download in the next few day’s.

The list of parts

  • 1x 600mm x 900mm Coroplast (from bunnings for $4.90)
  • D2826-6 – 2200kv Outrunner (from Hobbyking USA LINK, AUS LINK $8.97)
  • 35A H-KING ESC (from Hobbyking USA LINK, AUS LINK $12.70)
  • 2200mAh Zippy 3S 20C-25C (from Hobbyking USA LINK, AUS LINK $9.80)
  • 7x4e Propeller / 178x102mm ( from Hobbyking INT LINK $2.69 for 5)
  • 4 Bamboo Skewers ($1 for 150 at any shop)
  • Packing tape ($3 for 5 colour pack from Kmart)
  • 2x HXT900 servo 9gram / 1.6kg ( from Hobbyking USA LINK, AUS LINK $3)

So for about $42 you can build a very fast jet. I found this setup is fast enough for my abilities :)
